Three things you need to know before traveling to Nepal from 1st of September, 2020
1 – If you are Tourists traveling to Nepal need to stay in hotel quarantine until the PCR test result.
2 – CORONA negative certificate must be present upon arrival at the airport.
3 – Your visa will not be guaranteed upon arrival at the TIA Kathmandu.
Even if Tourists do not have to stay all 2 weeks in quarantine. All the Tourists need to stay quarantined in the hotel until the PCR report,
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Health mentioned that the tourist would have to stay at the hotel. Until the PCR test report is received. There will be a health desk at the arrival, where health officials will collect the sample. The test results of the report would take a minimum of six days.
Tourist can continue their Tour only if the report comes negative, if not they have to admit in the hospital, as the government officials brief. The cost of PCR has to be paid by the tourists themselves. The Ministry of Health and Population has stated that this rule will come into force from the 1st of September.
Likewise, Tourist Visas will not be guaranteed upon arrival at the TIA airport Kathmandu from the 1st of September. Tourists have to bring their visa beforehand Director-General of the Immigration Department Ramesh Kumar KC clarified. Where the arriving tourist has to present the report of corona negative that has been tested within 72 hours and be ready to stay in.
