Ruby Valley Trek derives its name from the gemstone ruby as it falls in the Ganesh Himal region which has ruby deposits. the region which stands near the major cities of Kathmandu and Pokhara yet it is the least explored. this area is concealed between the popular destinations of Langtang national park and the Manaslu conservation area project. the geographical landscapes are quite far-ranged and will fully bless viewpoints that provide excellent and attractive views of Ganesh Himal massif. the region that is least crowded has a lot of geographical, cultural, and biological diversity. Ganga Jamuna waterfall, chukarma waterfall, Kalo, Seto lakes, Tripura Sundari temple, Ganesh Kunda lake, Parvati Kunda lake, hot springs, Buddhist monasteries, stupas, chortens, and rare, and exotic wildlife are the other attractions of this trails.
The area is basically inhabited by the Gurung and Tamang culture community have rich and unique cultures. some people still do shaman practices which involve the practitioner communicating with the spirit to heal the sick. this new trail is not explored by many tourists so the chances of knowing more about the trail and exploring new things are on the way. it is open for all the seasons. hotels, homestays, tea houses, and camping facilities make the trail one of the most favorite places for trekking. the trekking starts from syabrubesi.
This trail offers stunning views of the Ganesh Himal, the mountain named after the Hindu god, lord Ganesh, Langtang Lirung, buddha Himal, Hiunchuli Dorje Lakpa, and the mountains of western and central Nepal. the pang sang pass situated at 3842m is another attraction at Ruby Valley Trek.
