Naya Kanga Peak (5,846 m) rises to the west of Ganja La is magnificently situated in the Langtang Region of Nepal. Naya Kanga is a popular Five Thousander trekking that offers the best panoramic views of snow-capped mountains. ya Kanga Peak as one of the most beautiful Peaks in the world. The normal route to this peak is via the snowy north-east ridge.
This Naya kanga Peak climbing can be accomplished in the Langtang valley. You will be utterly speechless at the stunning views of Lantang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang 7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m). And mighty Shishapangma (8027m) on the Tibetan side as it adds a reward to your ambition of peak climbing. The easy accessibility of the route made Naya Kanga Peak even more popular among the alpine climbers.
The Langtang valley is also known as the treasure house of Alpine Flora and Fauna. The whole valley is covered with flowers during the summer. This high and isolated region is inhabited by Tamangs whose religious practices, language and dress are much more similar to Tibetan.
The hike starts from Syabrubesi. We drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. Then walk through the dense forests of Bamboo, Oaks, pines, and Maples following the narrow valley along Langtang river to the north-east. We cross the river south of Kyangjin Gompa and trek to Naya Kanga Base Camp for climbing the Peak.
We set up a camp at the High Camp of Naya Kanga Peak and start climbing from there. Then it will take 1 full day to ascend to the summit and get back to High Camp. From the Summit, it can view the spectacular scenery of the mountains of Nepal such as Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lhakpa, Gang Chhenpo, Ganesh Himal ranges, Manaslu Ranges to Annapurna ranges, mighty Sishapangma(8013m) in Tibet as well the great views of the valley on the south including Kathmandu.
