Nepal Tourism Board

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is an organisation established in collaboration with the Government of Nepal under the Ministry for Civil Aviation and Tourism. It was formed in 1998 under Nepal Tourism Board act 2053 (1997). NTB functions as a model agency with public-private partnership approach for the development, expansion and promotion of Nepalese tourism. The core motive of NTB is to develop and market Nepal as an attractive tourist destination all over the world.

 

Nepal is the country where 8 highest peaks out of 16 of the world are located. Altitude in Nepal ranges from the deepest valley of Arun to the highest peak of Mount Everest. Gautam Buddha was born in Nepal. All these facts contribute to make Naturally Nepal beautiful and definitely visiting just once is not enough.The tourism industry in Nepal is one of the highest foreign currency earning industries and through Nepal Tourism Board the government is regulating various product development activities.

 

 launched a campaign named Experience Nepal 2018. Its main motive was to promote Nepali tourism and Nepali food in the international market in 2018. NTB has been promoting tourism through different campaigns along the years. According to NTB statistics 9,40,218 tourists have visited Nepal last year in 2017. It is expected that new federal government laws will make tourism more favourable this year and more tourists will visit Nepal. Nepal Tourism Board will have new grounds to work in favour of promoting tourism in the whole country in 2018.
