Pataleban and Vineyard

What are your thoughts about a winery resort? The pioneers of Pataleban Vineyard Resort had the same thought incubated in their head.  They were influenced by the winery resort of Japan. The company itself started working in the affiliation of Nichibi Kaikan of Tokyo. Pataleban Vineyard Resort is a mix and match of different objectives. Horticulture, organic farming and eco tourism are the main objectives.

The resort resides 16 Kilometeres west of the capital city, Kathmandu. It is as big as two rugby fields in area facing north west at the village of Chisapani 5, Baad bhanjyang . A community forest named Pataleban surrounds the vineyard resort. You can have a fine  view of sunset from the resort along with fantastic panorama of the himalayan range of Langtang, Ganesh, Manaslu, Annapurna and gorgeous sight of Dhading.

Pataleban Vineyard Resort itself is a first project of its kind in Nepal where the attraction is based on organic grape horticulture. There are numerous types of grapes grown in the vineyard. The vineyard is technically supported by professors of Okayama University who have specialized in grape farming.

The concept resides in developing a standard resort through organic grape farming with winery. This project also aims to support the local community via eco-tourism.
