Buddhist culture can be seen in this region as you walk through the ancient monasteries and prayer wall that comes while on trail routes.  During the Dudh Kunda trek, you will go through rhododendron forests, visit remote monasteries, and hike along small settlements of the local Sherpa people.

Your route takes you through authentic Sherpa villages where you stay with your local hosts, through stunning forests with a great chance of spotting wildlife, and up into the awe-inspiring Himalayan landscape around the sacred lake. The viewpoint of pikey peak is probably the best point to observe different Himalayan ranges in the whole of Nepal. On a clear day, you can see Mt. Kanchenjunga in the east to the Annapurnas in the west! And of course, this includes Mt Everest, front and center.
