Machhapuchhre Base Camp will offer you a scenic view of gangapurna, him chuli, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, and other Himalayan ranges. if you want to experience the blend of nature and cultural lifestyle of Nepal, then this trail is definitely to try out. TAAN, Pokhara identified and developed this trail as MBC Trekking. The vision behind this trail is to promote Pokhara and its surrounding rural areas. Machhapuchhre Trekking trail travels through seven important villages of the Annapurna region; that includes Lachok, Ghachok, Machhapuchhre, Ribhan, Lwang Ghalel, Sardikhola, and Dhital.

Here, on this trail, the trekkers have the option to do the full board camping and homestay as per their interest and time frame. only a few people know about this Machhapuchhare Base Camp trail (MBC). thus, it has a high potential to compete with Everest region trekking and Annapurna region trekking. As you walk higher you experience natural vegetation changes from the subtropical species to alpine species.  Wildlife and natural greenery make this trekking lively. Caves at Lahachok, a tea garden at Lawang, and waterfalls are the other attractions of the trail. According to the Annapurna Conservation Area Project, there are 1226 species of plants, 102 mammals, and 474 birds in the Annapurna Region. One can enjoy perfect peace and silence while on a trek.

Machhapuchhare Base Camp route goes up from the Mardi high point. Mardi is also famous for its short route trek from Pokhara.

  • Day 2 : Drive to Pokhara
  • Day 3 : Drive from Pokhara to kande, then trek to Australian base camp
  • Day 4 : Trek from Australian base camp to forest camp
  • Day 5 : Trek from forest camp to high camp
  • Day 6 : Day at base camp and return back to high camp
  • Day 7 : Trek from high camp to sidhing
  • Day 8 : drive from sidhing to Pokhara.
  • Day 9 : Rest day at Pokhara
  • Day 10 : Back to Kathmandu.

  2.  All meals during the trek (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

    Note: Please make sure that your insurance covers Helicopter evacuation up to 4,200 m. The helicopter is the only means of evacuation in case of emergency.
